General Manager Finance

Job Description : GM FINANCE BENIN · Preparation of quarterly / yearly financial statements. · Supervising the quarterly review of the Company. · Define and drive the MIS framework and metrics for the function (P&L statements, Balance Sheets, MIS reports etc.) with the stakeholders of the group companies · Ensuring compliance with IFRS/Ind AS, Revised schedule III, Companies act, etc. · Coordination with group companies to ensure the timely audit of consolidated financial of the group. · Preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group. · Ensuring monthly closure of books of accounts. · Ensuring reconciliations of accounts receivables / payables / head count, etc. · Ensuring month end closure entries are appropriately recognised. · Preparation of quarterly schedules for the limited review. · Coordination with internal & external stakeholders to ensure the timely closure of the audited financial. · Manage all queries, information requests and clarifications on financial accounting matters sought by internal and external stakeholders. · Assisting leadership group in significant transactions in terms of acquisition, restructuring, working capital adjustments on account of merger, etc. · Coming up with technical guidance on specific transactions entered by the Company. · Ensuring Tax Audit, information for the tax assessments (Direct & Indirect tax) of the group companies. · Coaching team members in terms of day to day work requirements, accounting standards, etc. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE · Expert knowledge of IND-AS, IFRS · Hands on experience on Financial Reporting and consolidation · Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes · Working knowledge of company law requirements · Working knowledge in ERP & Excel Desired Educational Qualification : Chartered Accountant possessing skills of Accounting and reporting across different countries or territories with exposure in Technology System and processes that supports financial efficiency. Required Experience : 10+ Years Relevant Experience : Managing large size Textile Manufacturing Organization Finance & Accounts and serviced a complex and diverse range of stakeholders
