Project Manager for power and Gas

Job Description : ROJECT MANAGER GHANA FOR POWER TRANSMISSION AND GAS 1. Responsible for planning and executing a 13 kms Power Transmission and Distribution project within stipulated time, cost, quality, norms and in techno-commercial coordination with all stakeholders 2. Checking Engineering documents with tender requirement relevant to all Electrical Civil and miscellaneous work to be executed 3. Conduct Route survey, firm up and freeze BOQs and peg marking as per site requirement and engineering drawings. 4. Preparation of Estimates as per survey for HT/LT line and preparation and analysis of HT/LT network drawings, single line diagrams, civil foundation drawings for electrical equipment's, Earthing drawings etc. 5. Erection and commissioning of distribution network of 33 kV sub-station, 33/11 kV transformers, distribution transformers, outdoor and indoor switchgear and Control & Relay Panel. 6. Selecting & Sizing of Transformer, Emergency Diesel Generator, HV & LV Cable, PF Correction capacitor sizing, etc. 7. Technical co-ordination with Vendors, Engineering Consultant, Sub Contractors for problem solving related to all Electrical, Civil and Miscellaneous work 8. Reviewing Vendor documents like Technical Offer, data sheet & all type of Drawing's with the Engineering Consultant. 9. Preparing a Quality Document as per ISO Standards for testing of HT yard, power transformers, protective devices, relays, CT/PT/VCB, etc 10. Co-ordination with Clients, HQ and respective vendors in regard to design, drawings and consistent material supply. 11. Preparing & maintaining MIS reports namely Performance report, MPCS, SCR, Budget, Cash Flow Reports, Job Cost Report, and quarterly reports. 12. Participate and supervise critical site construction activity and testing and commissioning all electrical products and equipment. 13. Validate that the electrical infrastructure utility is designed, built, commissioned and operated in full compliance with company & international standards 14. Ensure the implementation of effective Safety Management system & QMS system in line with company's HSE policy Required Candidate profile Applicants should be aged around 38 years with a degree in electrical engineering with 15 - 20 years experience in the Project Management function of Power Transmission and Distribution. They should be familiar with International codes and standards applicable to Power Transmission & Distribution.
