Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO OMAN Set the Group’s financial strategy including financial and accounting policies and procedures. Manage the Insurance, Corporate Finance and Accounting & Reporting activities and ensure they support the business objectives and guidelines of the Group. Ensure the Group has adequate liquidity, low-cost financing, and appropriate hedging. Define finance objectives & strategy consistent with the Company strategic imperatives and goals. Support overall Company long term financial planning in coordination with Strategy & Risk Management. Organize and oversee the functions of Corporate Finance (inc. treasury and project finance), Insurance and Accounting & Reporting. Provide financing input into feasibility of projects. Oversee setting of financial, insurance, accounting and reporting policies and guidelines. Ensure adequate insurance coverage. Recommend optimal capital structure strategy to the CEO and manage the balance sheet. Maintain relationships with banks and other sources of capital in order to minimize the cost of borrowed funds on the Company. Oversee investors relationship management and recommends dividend policy Ensure an effective and up-to-date financial management information system, in coordination with IT. Bachelor’s degree or masters in Finance, accounting or financial engineering and a professional designation (CA, CFA, CPA,ACCA). 15+ years of experience with at least 5 years as CFO role. Knowledge in project financing and treasury instruments. Experience in M&A transactions, tax shields, debt issuance and structure. Industry/manufacturing background Restructuring knowledge Familiar with Oman Capital Market Authority corporate governance and reporting protocol Familiar with risk management Familiar with group financial statement consolidation Familiar with SAP ERP system Financial operations and strategy background Leader, Team worker and motivator.
