Job Description : CFO AUSTRALIA a leading organisation with state of the art unique products that have endured an exciting growth path over the last decade. An established player in their industry, they have developed a strong brand name and transitioned from a distributor to a retailer over time with a strong e-commerce presence. Job Description As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and assume a hands-on and but also strategic role. This role will see you managing the transactional finance and financial reporting through to the production of value-add management reports. You will also support the execution of the company strategy, capital projects and play the role of a commercial sound board for the various business unit heads and non-finance stakeholders. In addition to this you will be a key point of contact for external advisors and also help run ad hoc best practice projects as they arise. The Successful Applicant To be successful in this role you will be CPA/CA qualified and have a proven track record working as a CFO, Financial Controller or Head of Finance in a rapidly expanding retail organisation. You will have 10+ years' experience in a highly progressive and responsible financial leadership role, preferably with exposure to the importing, distribution, and retail sectors. You will need a flexible, proactive attitude and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation will also be the key to your success. Lastly, you will need to be hands-on with a strategic focus and a desire to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with first class customer service
