IT Manager

Job Description : IT MANAGER BENIN Individual at this job will be responsible to manage the IT department of an integrated textile unit. He/She is expected to have hands on approach to plan and execute the changes to the IT landscape in line with the BU plans as and when required. Would be responsible to identify, onboard and lead the culturally diverse team of IT department of the textile plant. Job Location: Cotonou, Benin Key Accountabilities: · Ensure continuous delivery of IT services and monitor IT systems performance for smooth running of the integrated textile unit IT systems. · Assist Textile Plant BH/PCH to provide IT leadership and maintain the IT Digitization, InfoSec and Automation landscape. drive · Ensure that holistic Textile IT strategy is followed in an environment that fosters knowledge sharing and mutual growth. Ensure the execution/adoption of the initiatives in line with approved strategy within agreed budgets, quality and timeline. · Implement IT Solutions/projects to meet identified business needs, partnering business team drive the change management basis the understanding of existing process and improvement areas · Maintain synchronization between operation teams and tech delivery teams, to ensure business aligned solution delivery. · Support management to develop and track IT operating and capital budgets for integrated textile unit with an objective of keeping the actuals of expenses within specified management targets · Review HW/SW acquisition and take appropriate actions in the best interest of the overall plant operation · Lead effectively to attain a motivated and capable team and identify potential successors and groom them suitably · Ensure timely submission and review of IT MIS/updates on IT Delivery · Ensure appropriate escalation within or out of teams as and when required for timely closure of the issues/CRs/Requirements with respect to ERP support requirements of integrated textile unit. · Keep track of IT user IDs/assets across the landscape through its complete life cycle for various policy compliance and management reporting EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor/masters degree in computer science or information technology · Certifications in SAP, ITIL, Networking Tech, Cloud Tech, PMP, would be preferred RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or specific exposure required) · 12-15 year experience in the Mid/Senior management position, in line with JD shared · Domain knowledge of Textile unit operations · Advance level knowledge in IT hardware, server and Infosec tools management · Capability to communicate in English (written and verbal) · Flexibility to work in challenging work environment and in fluid working hours
