Engineering Head

Job Description : ENGINEERING HEAD PERTH AUSTRALIA A leading Engineering Design organisation is searching for an Engineering Manager to join their company. They are searching for anyone who is able to fulfil the needs as a subject matter expert and apply their mechanical engineering skills to guide and lead both design and production divisions. This is a full time permanent opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop a high quality and high performing engineering team with capacity to meet company operational and strategic requirements Guide development and adaptation of leading products to suit external client needs Provide the team with development tools, support and knowledge to progress Be the subject matter expert on technical engineering matters Work closely with the Technical Director to resolve Customer performance and warranty issues. Key Requirements: Engineering Degree (Mechanical) Minimum 18 years in a similar role and 5 years in a leadership position. Experience with Mobile plant equipment and previous experience working for an engineering design organisation High level knowledge of engineering software including SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, spreadsheet, word processing software, project management and presentation software Knowledge on both design and production aspects of an organisation Key Benefits: Work for a leading mining equipment manufacturer Competitive Salary Career development opportunities
