Supply Chain Head

Job Description : COUNTRY SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD MALAYSIA A renowned automotive parts manufacturing company is seeking a Country Supply Chain Lead. In this job, you will spearhead its planning, logistics and warehouse functions for its operations within Peninsular Malaysia. In this position, you will be tasked to strategise and guide the supply chain functions to address areas such as improvement in production, material planning, transportation, and inventory management within the company to optimise performance and elevate customer satisfaction. Manage the entire process in the planning of supply chain activities, inventory control, and distribution to ensure process optimisation to reduce cost and avoid delays in delivery Be responsible for department budgeting to ensure that cost control measures are taken Monitor and improve KPI measures for customer deliveries, inventory accuracy, manpower allocation, stocking levels and budgeting for the overall supply chain department Oversee raw material lead time management to ensure delivery to customer is met in a timely manner Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes to ensure effective timing and minimal transport cost Be a driver of cost reduction and profit improvement programs for the department To succeed in the Country Supply Chain Lead role, you will need to have strong hands-on experience in managing planning teams, warehousing and logistics functions as well as a matured sense of relation between commercial and supply chain activities. Degree qualification in supply chain management, logistics, or any related field Over 10 years of work experience in a supply chain management position with over three years in a managerial position Ability to manage multiple functions concurrently while meeting deadlines and delivering quality work Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving abilities to manage unforeseen circumstances
