General Manager Supply Chain and Logistics

Job Description : GM SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS INDONESIA A multinational building materials manufacturing company is recruiting for a GM Supply Chain and Logistics (Building Materials) job to grow and expand the company’s supply chain function to bring the company to new heights. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain and logistics activities such as demand/supply planning, transportation management, inventory management, reverse logistics and warehouse management. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain Analyse current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution Lead and manage 3PL from delivery perspective and performance management, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments Further develop and implement KPI systems to monitor performance of the procurement activities and to foster the digitalisation of procurement processes To succeed in this GM Supply Chain and Logistics (Building Materials) role, you will need to have strong hands on delivery and transport management experience in building materials industry and develop the Operational and Strategic teams. Degree from reputable university with related field Over 10 years' working experience in a supply chain, delivery and transport management function in manufacturing industry (preferably with an MNC) Minimum of five years in a management position Ability to work under time constraints Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of internal stakeholders
