Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO VIETNAM One of the largest leading retail companies in Vietnam is calling for applications for a Chief Financial Officer, based in Ho Chi Minh City. You will report to the CEO / owners of the business. Your main responsibilities are to be in charge of all finance and controls activities of the business, whilst being a trusted member to the BODs to advise on strategic planning and risk management, ensuring financially effective and stable operation. Responsible for all finance & internal control procedures, ensuring transparency and compliance in working with external parties and authorities Ensure all computerized systems are appropriately maintained for risk management purposes, adhering to local legal and accounting standards (IFRS and VAS) Cashflow projection and management; cost efficiency; manage relationship with banks Involve in M&A projects including market expansion; budgeting, performance management, financial planning. Review profit & lost appraisals for new brands / stores / pricing plan to make well-informed decisions in terms of opening/closing stores, marketing or promotions, customer loyalty programmes, staff incentive policies etc. Provide training to relevant departments on internal control procedures Other tasks as assigned by BODs 15+ years of experience, with solid experience in a CFO / Finance Director / Finance Controller position (3-5 years) Experience in either retail / E-commerce / food & beverage is a must Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field Professional qualifications preferred e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA Deep knowledge of financial controls (budgeting, forecast, data analysis) and risk management practices Proficient ERP user, preferably SAP Strong leadership to lead a big team, with critical thinking, result-oriented and data-driven mindset Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, work well under high pressure environment
