Job Description : FLEET HEAD THAILAND A rapidly expanding of a leading logistics company is looking for an experienced Head of Fleet (x 1 vacancy) to be based in Bangkok, Thailand. In this job, you will be accountable for leading end to end transportation activities, and performance improvement. This role will directly report to Head of Operations. In this business critical role you will focus on creating huge impact on organisational success. As such, you will be a strategic thinker able to see the implications of operational decisions on business health, yet equally aware of the tiny details that make or break execution. You will be willing to lead by example, going down to the ground to understand issues. The salary offered is attractive with performance bonus, provident fund and health insurance. Work directly with the COO to set short-term and long-term cost and performance targets for the team Lead process improvement projects to achieve higher quality standards and/or optimise costs further Oversee the administrative processes necessary to keep operations running, including but not limited to payroll calculation, fuel claims, contracts with drivers and third-party vendors etc. Build cross-functional internal relationships to communicate and achieve consensus with ease Provide timely updates on progress to management team The successful Head of Transport must have the ability to work effectively and co-cooperatively with other teams, across borders and internal matrix. Possesses hands-on cost saving project as well as improvement projects. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required, international graduation will be a plus At least 12 years of experience in the logistics industry, previously managed a team of larger than ten Comfortable with numbers and technology savvy High empathy so you can coach and bring out the best in your team Curious, organised, yet detail-oriented - bringing order to chaos as it arises
