Job Description : MD PUNE for industrial products Define overall reasons the position exists (its purpose), as well as outlining key roles, functions and areas of focus that are part of the position o Responsible for the overall company development of India o Develop the company to one of the leaders in its industry following strategy o Further develop new business and market opportunities o Ensure the company operations are in compliance with Best Practice and common business ethics Expected outcome Define key responsibilities of the position in terms of the expected results and standing outcomes in support of organisational objectives and goals, what the position is expected to achieve. (No more than 7 – 10) o Manage, drive and monitor daily operations of India to ensure profitable and efficient performance o Motivate and lead the local management team by example as well as the entire workforce to accomplish Leadership strategy o Develop and implement strategic sales plan to achieve company target and increase market share, and establish as a first-choice partner o Partner with regional and global leaders to identify the growth opportunities and direct team activities accordingly o Continuously improve efficiency and guide the local team to achieve operational excellence o Responsible for strategic forecast and annual budget process o Responsible for local compliance with local laws and regulations Best Practice and global policies o Advise regional management team on local issues Required Qualifications & Competences Required Qualifications (education, training, certificates…) and Competence (professional, business, social and personal skills) that enable successful achievement of the position’s outcomes. o Bachelor’s degree or above in Sales and Marketing or similar experiences suitable for the position is required. o At least 20 years work experience and 10 years in management position in multinational company o Be a collaborative team player with the ability to influence all levels of the organization. o Process excellent interpersonal and communications skills, proven track record of leading teams, effective business partnerships o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills o Good financial skills including P&L, balance sheet, forecasting and analysis o Planning and organising skills, capability to develop company strategy o Able and willing to implement Group strategy in the local company o Experienced leader with people management skills and team building skills o Able to monitor, coach and develop team and individuals o Wanting to work in a company with Scandinavian management culture o Have commercial awareness coupled with a good sense of business acumen o Fluent in English o Preferably with a strong sales-oriented background o Knowledge of relevant B2B markets o Negotiation skills o Structured way of working, showing clear, logical thought process o Ambition to succeed, and making the team succeed o Strong communication skills, capable of open two-way communication o Trustworthy, honest, taking responsibility o Down-to-earth as a person with a hands-on approach
