Financial Controller 
10 yearsJob Description : FC GHANA 5) Play an active role to support the local MD in building and managing business, including evaluation of business performance from a financial standpoint and make recommendation to improve operations efficiency and maximize profitability. 6) Formulate policies and procedures to maintain proper internal control to safeguard companys assets, streamline operations and improve fund management. 7) Review and control the daily operation of the Finance Department, and building up a strong team to support the business growth 8) Provide timely and accurate financial reports including budget, forecast, actual performance analyses, exceptions reports, etc. 9) Monitor the inventory, cash flow, accounting and treasury functions of the entire organization. 10) Ensure correct calculation and timely filing and payment of all local tax and statutory dues and returns 11) Carry out certain logistic, administrative functions and other ad hoc assignments for the local office. To qualify for the position you should meet the following pre requisites: - A degree holder and a qualified accountant with at least 10 years of experience in financial control (a managerial role); preferably with experience gain in trading organization with business size of over US$10m. - Ideally with past working experience in Nigeria, Ghana, or other West Africa countries. - Strong in financial analytical skills with good & practical business sense - Detail oriented, cost conscious, hands-on, and a strong team leader - Capable to deal with difficult & stressful situations and provide practical solutions - Well time management for meeting deadline. - Comprehensive knowledge on ERP and accounting systems will be an advantage. - Well acquainted with International accounting standards, laws and taxation regulation.
