15 yearsJob Description : Distillery Manager for Water Bottling Plant at Gualin Estate, Durness, Scotland Please note that Candidate will be responsible for regular logistics, and operations of the spring water bottling and processing plant.. You also will need to currently set up the water bottling plant. As a Distillery Manager for a Water Bottling Plant, your main responsibility is to oversee the production process of distilled water in the bottling plant. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the water produced meets the required quality standards and is safe for consumption. Some of the key responsibilities that you will have as a Distillery Manager for a Water Bottling Plant include: Managing Production Processes: You will be responsible for managing the entire production process of distilled water in the bottling plant. This includes overseeing the distillation process, bottling, packaging, and labeling of the finished product. Quality Control: Ensuring that the distilled water produced meets the required quality standards is one of your key responsibilities. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a quality control program that ensures that all products meet the required quality and safety standards. Safety and Compliance: As the Distillery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the plant meets all the safety and compliance standards set by the regulatory authorities. This includes ensuring that all employees are trained in safety procedures, that all equipment is properly maintained, and that all regulatory requirements are met. Budget and Financial Management: You will be responsible for managing the budget and financial performance of the bottling plant. This includes developing budgets, managing costs, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability. People Management: You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. You will need to ensure that all employees are properly trained and motivated to work efficiently and safely. Inventory Management: You will be responsible for managing inventory levels of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records, forecasting demand, and ensuring that adequate supplies are available. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong leadership skills, experience in managing production processes, and knowledge of quality control systems. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and have the ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly.
