Commercial Director

Job Description : COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR ETHIOPIA a global beverage player within the FMCG sector is currently seeking a Commercial director to spearhead & develop business activities within Ethiopia and its surrounding markets. This company is responsible for manufacturing and distributing premium alcoholic beverages Reporting to the Managing Director & Board executives, your objective in this role is to: · Drive commercial activity to promote and develop the brand's multiple beverage items across local markets · Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to define business strategies, execute commercial activities & marketing campaigns · Responsible for identifying key opportunities within the consumer markets, in order to capitalise or promoting the brand's different line of beverages · You are responsible for spearheading result oriented sales strategies and marketing campaigns to engage customer interests and sales activity · You bring creative solutions to effectively expand your organisation's lines of products by outlining marketing campaigns & attending annual trade shows · Effectively communicating with the members of the board committee on a weekly basis 12 years of Commercial Director experience within the alcohol & beverage industry in Africa You are self-motivated, resilient and bring concrete ideas to develop commercial business within challenging markets Previous track record of leading commercial activity within local markets covering Ethiopia, Latin America or South Africa is preferred Diploma in Marketing or Business management Previous experience working in Ethiopia is a plus Fluency in English is required This role requires relocating to Ethiopia Attractive expat/local package + incentives
