Job Description : Director– Finance & Accounts GHANA Job Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the Finance team. • Provide financial and strategic insights on the growth plans of the organization by evaluating the financial performance and objectives for the business • Collaborate with the CEO/Business Head & Heads of Department in the preparation of annual budget for the business and provide financial advice to the top management to ensure effective allocation of funds. • Develop and maintain financial systems, policies and processes to ensure compliance; provide advice on finance related procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and internal controls • Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual current and forecasting financial reports. • Prepare and submit financial statements and reports in accordance with financial reporting standards, principles and regulators (IFRS, GAAP, CBUAE) • Monitor and analyze expenditures of the company, prepare report of annual operating budget and expenses for top management on a monthly basis • Manage and oversee reconciliation processes and procedures to ensure accounts reconciliation is done on a regular basis • Responsible for internal and external finance audit • Propose, negotiate and advise on the Funds Transfer Pricing policy for the company in adherence with company’s policies, taking into account local market dynamics • Plan and manage funding, liquidity, rate, currency positions, market risk to maximise FX margins/revenue • Build & maintain relationship with corresponding banking partners to expand the scope of network and services across the globe Requirements: • Master’s degree in Finance (or equivalent); Chartered Accountant or similar qualification is an advantage • 10-15 years of experience in finance industry • Successful track record of creating / setting up multi-currency settlement infrastructure • Strong practical liquidity / working capital / FX management skills • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices • Strong analytical skills to support strategic decisions and provide performance reporting to senior management. • Willingness to take responsibility, initiative, and work in a dynamic team. • Strong communication skills
