Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD BIRMINGHAM UK rapidly growing privately owned Technology scale-up business on a retained basis to recruit a Head of Finance. The role will lead a change and transformation programme, report directly to the CEO/Owner, and be likely to progress to a CFO within 12 months for the right candidate. You will need to be comfortable with changes in systems, processes and culture to establish the finance function, as you will play an integral role in managing the entire team. The individual will be responsible for all organisational finance-related affairs as part of the senior management team and the performance and driving strategic decisions, direction and support. This role would suit a Head of Finance who is looking for a challenging yet rewarding role to head the organisation's finances and progress with the company's growth plans & strategy. Location: Fully Remote Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £110,000 - £125,000 per annum + bonus Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance Be a finance team leader, leading your team by mentoring and coaching with company values and culture Responsible for financial reporting & forecasting in the organisation (monthly, quarterly and yearly)? Implement and own the processes, tools and systems finance to support company functions Set the strategic objectives, setting performance measures and targets for the Finance Team to ensure these objectives are met Maximise financial and business performance and effective business partnering & stakeholder engagement Lead the development of change & transformation to minimise risk Oversee cash flow, treasury affairs, FP&A, payroll and general accounting within the company Key essentials of the Head of Finance Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) Experience in a fast-moving environment and a modern finance function Been a part of a finance transformation function and led change across a team Leader, ambitious, detail oriented and system thinker High commercial awareness and analytical skills Worked in a start-up, technology/SaaS or e-commerce
