Finance Head

Job Description : FINANCE HEAD MANCHESTER UK Head of Finance to join their high calibre accounts department. This is an opportunity to join a successful blue-chip business during an exciting period of growth in a role which will present opportunities to learn, develop and progress whilst gaining significant exposure to department heads across the Group. Reporting to an impressive Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the Group Services central functions, business partnering with divisional heads and managing, coaching and developing a high-performance team. The role: • Support and challenge the team in order to deliver and exceed its business plan targets in a well-controlled and governed manner. • Work with senior leadership team to ensure a collaborative and seamless approach to consolidating results and performance reporting. • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business along with their teams in order to provide key financial insight in a clear and concise manner. • Provide business planning, forecasting and re-forecasting to aid key decision making. • Ensure best practice and drive continuous improvements across processes and efficiencies. • Manage, coach and develop a team of high calibre commercial accountants. • Support in systems and process development and upgrades. • Balance workload and successfully handle regular project work. The successful individual: • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). • Strong commercial and business partnering experience with regular exposure to the senior leadership team. • Coaching, mentoring and developing exposure. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and manage expectations. • Ideally exposure to working in the Group function of a large business. • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large volumes of data.
