Job Description : Sr. Manager- Electrical NIGERIA FOR CEMENT PLANT Job Description/Responsibilities: 1. Ensure completion of electrical, instrumentation and control systems' maintenance jobs with the highest level of safety, quality, and effectiveness at minimum cost to maximize equipment availability. 2. Embraces preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and contributes to their improvement. 3. Capable to manages and motivates his team, ensures co-ordination and co-operation between his and other departments.. 4. Should have in depth knowledge of the electrical and electronics engineering. 5. Should have in hand experience on MV Drives, VVFD & DCS 6. Should have in hand experience on operation and maintenance of electrical switch gears HV & LV, motors HV & LV. 7. Able to prepare department budget and spare management. 8. Able to monitor and co-ordinate condition predictors, for all critical equipment 9. Able to evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance job-plans, create and update the corresponding inspection job-plans, in co-ordination with the planner. 10. Contributes to the analysis of failures and problems, recommending corrective actions 11. Should have electrical equipments testing capability. 12. Should have the knowledge of calibration procedure of electrical and instrument's equipments. 13. Takes adequate actions when any incidents occur. 14.Prepare report on repair jobs including consumption of materials, tools, man-hours and skills, and fills equipment history files. *Competencies* : 1- Should have degree/ diploma from reputed / govt. institution with 15- 20 yrs in hand experience. 2- Preference for who is having Electrical Supervisory certificate from State.Electrical Licensing board . 3- Should be good communicator, team builder, decision maker, fault finder and failure analysis. 4- Should have valid Electrical supervisory license from MP Licensing board (Electrical Inspectorate). 5- Capable to Manages team, defines the missions and objectives, motivates his team, and facilitates communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy). 6- Ensures working conditions and safety at work. 7- Ensures and controls quality of maintenance jobs from contractors.
