Quality Control Manager

Job Description : QC MANAGER NIGERIA Candidate with10 to 15 yrs. of experience in end to end Quality control in the field of industrial construction / steel & power /manufacturing sectors' and should have handled at least one project as Quality control Engineer/ Manager Job description: Preparing Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Testing plan, Method statements and getting the same approved by Project Head / Civil head / Consultant. Interaction with Contractors regarding Method Statements approval & implementation, material selection / testing & approval. Ensuring the process control as per approved methodology and ITP. Implementation of ITP at site as per approved frequency. Carry out root-cause analysis of non-conformities noticed in supplies and construction activities and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformities. Maintaining and monitoring calibration of measuring equipment Conducting and approving Concrete Mix design as per Project requirements and specifications. Responsible for conducting internal periodical quality Audits at Site. Manage and resolve quality issues. Supervision of field activities as per approved inspection plans, and making reports, issuing NCRs and closing after corrective / preventive actions. Establishing Periodic Quality review with Project Manager and Project Head, by conducting statistical analysis of defined Quality Parameters. Compilation of MIS and sharing it with Project Manager & Project Head. Analysis of MIS, identification of scope for improvement and sharing it with section in charges at site. Maintaining applicable Quality records duly updated. Co-ordination with end users for stage/final inspection wherever required and obtaining clearances. Creating Quality Culture at Site. Identifying the training need to staff and workers and Evaluation of Competency after training. Should enforce the quality assurance requirements of contractors / sub-contractors Should be Conversant with MS office, Word, Excel, Auto cad. Qualification: BE in Civil engineering Certificate courses in quality control and quality management will be an added advantage.
