General Manager 
20 yearsJob Description : MD TUNISIA a leading European food business and who requires a Country Manager for their Tunisian operations. S/he has full responsibility for the operations and will work closely with the European HQ. The Country Manager will be a leader in the formulation and execution of country strategy, both with current operations and market expansion. S/he will lead business planning activities at a local level and will have full budgetary responsibility in Tunisia. Strategy Management - Strategy conception and implementation for both commercial and production sides together with HQ - Establish the policy and export protocol along with the commercial department of the headquarters. - Define and develop, along with the technical department of the headquarters, the strategy and protocols of the agricultural activity and of the strategy of every farm and product. - Attach particular importance to build excellent relationships with the local public administrations: negotiation for water rights, APIA, customs, governmental relations and other related tasks. Operations management - Develop management KPI for those parameters that are not measured regarding labour performance, production, quality, cost & safety. - Implementation of digitalization and sustainability strategy in the production sites. - Secure and participate in the achievement of the established goals (EBT, EBITDA, KPI´s). - Coordination and supervision of budget elaboration process. Organization Charts - Definition and organization of the staff structures that are necessary to follow successfully the current and future strategies of the country. - Secure that these structures of the country guarantee the goal achievement of the subsidiary and of each of its projects, accompanying always the goal of the professional development of the people that form the teams. Be a Team Developer - Supervision of workforce planning at an operational level (performance matrix, labour performance). - Definition of the responsibilities and goals for each team member. Realize feedback meetings, at least two a year. Communication with the headquarters - Secure the flow of communication referring to the business development between the country and the headquarters, establishing the appropriate communication channel for them. - Coordinate the communication with all of the different functional areas of the headquarters to integrate correctly the departments of the country in the corporate policy, as well as to maximize the utilization of resources. Corporate Responsibility - Secure the achievement of the standards of the Corporate Responsibility in the area of CR, environment and labour security. - Collaborate actively with the team of the corporate area of CR, defining and developing programs adapted to the special conditions of the country/region - 5+ years’ experience at General Manager level or senior experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Industrial or General Management - Experience within food production and food manufacturing sector - Strong communication skills with an appreciation for timely and accurate reporting - English, French & Arabic language skills
