Accounting Director

Job Description : ACCOUNTING DIRECTOR BRUSSELS a key player in logistics based in Brussels, is looking for Accounting Director (under independent status) The main responsibilities will be: Manage G/L, A/P and A/R departments (15 people) Structure the activities of the departments Optimize the operation and performance of the 3 departments Perform monthly and quarterly accounting closings and reporting to the group in accordance with deadlines Dealing with tax issues Develop the function in a spirit of "business partner" towards the CFO and management must imperatively have extensive experience and a strong knowledge of accounting techniques. He/she must be a very good team manager with great human qualities based on communication and developing the potential of team members. He/she is comfortable with the operational side of accounting (ability to be "hands-on"). has a great affinity with computer systems. Experience in the logistics sector is a major asset. The candidate must have a perfect command of French and English.
