Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description : Manager - Warehouse Operations ZAMBIA Exp : 8+Years Job Responsibility : Manager Warehouse Operations Roles & Responsibilities / Profile Details • Heading Warehouse Operations of all the companys warehouses pan India. • Monitoring and Controlling all the companys warehouses, their performances and ensuring that all the warehouses are managed in most efficient and effective manner. • Monitoring the performance of each warehouse and warehouse operations team. • Managing day to day Warehouse Operations (for all warehouses pan India) for inbound, outbound, storage, Order Fulfillment, Stock taking & reconciliation, etc. • To develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as per warehouse requirements and to ensure that all the warehouses operate as per SOPs and perform the operations in alignment with SOPs while delivering the best results at the same time. • To design and set the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the warehouses in consultation with the management and continuously work on improving the performance of the Warehouse operations in accordance with KPIs. • To respond to new enquiries/tenders of the prospective customers by evaluating the requirements of customers based on their enquiries/tenders and design an optimal solution to present to the client. • Should be able to lead the process of finding new warehouses, setting up and establishing new warehouses pan India. • Should be able to interview and recruit good candidates required for warehouse operations in coordination with H.R Team. • Should have excellent knowledge of Warehouse Cost parameters related to Fixed and Variable Cost and identify areas of Cost Control and Cost Optimization. • Ability to handle multiple types of products in different volumes. • Should have good understanding of various Material Handling Equipment (MHEs) used in the warehouse and types of racking systems and automation used in the warehouse. • Should have sound knowledge of Custom Clearing Procedures and taxes as applicable on Warehousing transactions. • Should have excellent knowledge of safety measures and create safe work environment. • Should be capable in getting all the compliance related permissions for warehouses and also maintaining proper legality in warehouse operations. • Should be comfortable with travelling as and when required for business purpose. • Excellent Communication Skills (Fluent English) and Computer Skills (MS Office) are required. • Should be able to prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and update it regularly to the management. Should have knowledge & experience of Port Operations.
