Job Description : CFO KENYA One of the fastest growing retail businesses in East Africa. The company provides high quality personal care products and pharmaceuticals, to over 1.5 million people across the region, with stores in Kenya and East Africa. The business is seeking a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) who will be responsible for all aspects of finance, including cash management, reporting, accounts etc The CFO will also play a pivotal role in the business strategy formulation and execution. Including analysing objectives of the company, balancing growth with cost controls and working with the investor management. The business is backed by several global investors so exciting expansion and growth is central to the short and medium term plans. Essential Skills 18+ years experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Prior experience in retail is ideal; with a strong preference for retail or FMCG sector Chartered accountant; Masters holder. MBA will be highly attractive Strong presentation and communication skills. Able to present operational and financial results in a clear format and have experience in presenting to Executive Management, HQ or Board Level Fluency in English for both written and spoken communications Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with key personnel and partners Solid corporate finance experience; experience in M&A deal execution strongly preferred
