Project Director

Job Description : Project Director for reputed Mining Company. Location : Cameroon. Job Role • Lead the project, make strategic decisions, and be responsible for the delivery of outcomes as per the organizational goals and targets • Lead the day-to-day operations, by leading the on-site operations team and coordinating with the corporate team • Develop and implement plans for the effective and efficient development of the project • Prepare budgets and financial plans, reports, and presentations, as required • Ensure and evaluate performance of operations team, and to assist in recruitment, as required • Manage all the project-related risks. • Liaison with all the relevant stakeholders in the best interests of the project • Meeting with clients, stakeholders and project managers to report on project progress • Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project • Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage. Education & Experience • Engineering and MBA from reputed institutions • 15 years of experience in Mining & Metals sector. The candidates with a proven track record in Bauxite & Aluminium industry, in a similar leadership role, would be preferred Technical Competence • Project Management • Leadership • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Excellent documentation and presentation skills • Strong Analytical skills
