Plant Manager

Job Description : BATTERY PLANT MANAGER BENIN 10+ years experience The successful candidate will report to the Operations Head and will be based out of West Africa( Benin/Togo). He will be expected to begin work as soon as possible. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Any know how about French will be an added advantage. This job is perfect for someone who is an EV enthusiastic and has a strong sense and knowhow about Li-Ion Battery technology and Production Processes. Responsibilities: · Assembly of products as per specifications · Ensure production processes meet international and national standards · Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures · Proactively build productive workplace culture and a culture of safety with zero accidents. · Inventory management · Alignment on production plan along with PPC · Monitoring performance indicators and financial indicators (metrics) of the organization · Monitor performance by gathering relevant data & producing statistical reports · Run Productivity improvement programs through CIP workshops, lean line design, and value stream mapping, cycle time reduction, etc. · Conducting cost reduction exercises & initiate technology up gradation · Layout tracking & updating as and when required · Manage all production staffing accountabilities, including recruiting and hiring, coaching, and training & development · Develop and implement staffing plan that ensures a proactive flow to meet the growing manpower needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner · Providing managerial and technical direction to a team · Monitor and guide all efforts to optimize production efficiency, minimize cost, and continuously improve our quality system initiatives · Social competence, creativity and emotional control · Proven communication, organization, management and leadership skills; as well as the ability to interface with all levels within the organization · Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills · Strong knowledge of Quality systems and standards · Able to work under pressure to meet deadline
