Parts Manager

Job Description : PARTS MANAGER TANZANIA INDUSTRY: AUTOMOTIVE a Parts Manager to coordinate a healthy stock level that meets the needs of the end customers and the workshops, optimize the branch network to create service efficiency and contributes to a profitable business with well-defined targets. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage Parts strategy and business: Implement and develop the parts strategy, in order to maximise the profitability within the parts business •Develop, implement and follow up the parts strategy sales plan for the business unit •Persistently monitor and follow-up commercial and process KPI’s •Keep track of and carryout both supplier and competitor analysis. •Lead the team: Lead, motivate and manage the team to deliver high-quality results and timely service •Coach individuals in the team on a regular basis, tailored to the individual need and focused on improving competence used in the daily work •Ability to strategically structure the department’s workforce through succession planning & role development. •Manage the team’s expectations against changes in the company •Lead and oversee the development of the personnel requirement within the department Promote growth to our Service Network Efficiency & Manage Parts Operations •Run the Parts operation in a commercial way, fulfil both internal and external customer needs and expectations with the right parts delivered at the right time, maximizing uptime for the customer •Great Customer relations by proactively offering solutions & growing our customer network. •Strong in Sales Techniques that support external sales & expand our market share. Managing improvement work according to the company’s way (SRS) • Set agenda for standardized work methods and improvement activities and manage resources within the same department • Follow up on Improvement activities and goals in connection to the business objectives • Ensure transfer of best practice between teams within the same department QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Logistics or any related field •Twelve years’ relevant experience
