Printing Manager

Job Description : Flexo Printing Manager (Relocation Help May Be Available)--Senoia, GA USA Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Printing Manager provides management and technical support to the Printing Department by continually developing and upgrading the flexographic printing process and the skills of the department. The Printing Press Manager is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Prepress and Ink room areas. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years working experience. 5 years of on hand press experience and 5 years of supervision/ management experience. TECHNICAL SKILLS: • Ability to read tape measure • Basic computer aptitude/skills • Basic mathematical skills • Ability to setup and run Flexographic printing press • Quality: Able to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines; performs tasks in such a way as to ensure quality and customer satisfaction; do work right the first time and inspect material for flaws; demonstrate understanding of need for producing high quality product by striving to improve conventional practices, making suggestions and/or actively participating in training programs to improve skills; reinforce excellence as a fundamental priority. • Flexibility: Perform a wide variety of tasks and change focus quickly as demands change; manage transitions effectively from task to task; adapt to varying customer needs; interact well with people who have different values cultures or backgrounds.
