Process Manager

Job Description : PROCESS MANAGER UGANDA 18+ years experience · Overseeing the production line, process, product development, quality control, product testing and responsible for the quality & quantity of the product that a distillery produces in plants in the location with zero liquid discharge (ZLD). · Environment Health and Safety- Plant property and people. · Should have basic knowledge in machinery commissioning and erection. · Responsible for employee safety and morale, product quality, the operation's budget, reliability of production and planning. · Manage day-to-day operations of the distillery. · Should have good experience in handling of Quality Control, ETP, WTP operations. · Must have good technical practical knowledge in Milling, Liquefaction, fermentation, Distillation, Evaporation, Stripper, Decanter. · Ensures compliance with company and government policies and regulations. · Ensuring operational and procedural accuracy and consistency. · Lead and develop the operational team at the distillery. · Provide technical leadership to assure quality and consistency of the distillery process and liquid to the highest standards. · Continuous Improvement of output performance, continually reviewing a recommending improvements to production processes. · Ensure compliance with quality policies, standards, and systems including plant. · Sanitation and GMP procedures. · Ensure compliance with environmental regulations. · Managing the daily activities of a grain elevator and co-product loadout facilities that directly support an Ethanol/ENA processing plant to ensure standards for operational efficiency, safety, quality control and customer service are met. · Ensure routine and preventative maintenance is performed on all equipment to verify safety, efficiency, and productivity requirements for the facility. · Ensure preventive maintenance plan & implementation. Desired profile of the candidate Male Qualification · Diploma in Industrial Fermentation and Alcohol Technology (D.I.F.A.T) Required Skill Set (In case of IT requirements) · Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and a willingness to be challenged. · Excellent leadership skills and the ability to maintain positive, high-performance work atmosphere. · Good team facilitator with ability to work with other functions. · Advanced knowledge of distilling operations (Grained based) and process equipment. · An experienced multi-disciplined manager. · Exposure to safety critical operations. · Proficient with basic computer software such as the Microsoft Office suite. · Knowledge and experience of ISO, SAP, TPM & GMP practices. · Able to suggest new ideas to improve performance and deliver the plan · Demonstrated inclusive leadership and excellent communication skills. · Ability to build and sustain excellent business relationships (internally and externally) as well as high functioning teams. · Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen. · Strong understanding of supply chain processes, continuous improvement · Methodologies, quality, safety, and environmental practices. · Ability to diagnose manufacturing issues and problem solve solutions to increase operational efficiencies and control cost of Production. · Daily / weekly / monthly MIS.
