Job Description : MD ITALY As Managing Director, you will be in charge of the general management and the development of active in the manufacturing of special machine like industrial laminator, gluing & coating machine. The scope of this position includes: Leadership of a 30 people team. Lead and guide the team in the pursuit of profitable new business and maintain clear focus and priorities in the product team across all the sites Focus on value creation – value based pricing and identifying profitable new business opportunities. Develop annual and long-term business plans for the company. Develop sales and marketing plan to drive new business. Oversight of sales force as necessary to support business growth and customer retention. Work closely with sales, Marketing Dpt and the total organization business regarding targets and actions including customer meetings and sales calls. Oversight and involvement in cost estimation process to ensure cost accuracy and appropriate pricing. Prioritization and coordination of engineering activities in support of the company goals. Develop strong linkage with operations to ensure cost goals are met, customer needs are prioritized, and quality issues are resolved. Drive and grow a team through coaching and mentorship, focus on the people. Prepare and present company results; tell the story of the business unit as an owner would. Performs other duties as required. Engineering background (Bac+5) with a specialization in mechanical design or automation, at least an additional academic background in Business is a plus, You have of successful experience in the special machinery sector (min 10 years) and at least minimum 5 years as Managing director. English is mandatory in addition to Italian. French would be a plus. Autonomous, reports transparently.
