Job Description : VP Retail Operation (Food) THAILAND As the VP Retail Operation (Food) - Samut Sakhon, will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of our supermarket operations, including supply chain, logistics, merchandising, and customer service. The successful candidate will ensure that all activities related to the procurement, stocking, and distribution of food products are carried out efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to optimise our supermarket operations, including supply chain, logistics, merchandising, and customer service Ensure the efficient and timely procurement, stocking, and distribution of food products Oversee the company's inventory management, including ordering, forecasting, and control Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximise sales and profitability Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including food safety regulations Lead and develop a high-performing team of supermarket professionals Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field At least 10 years of experience in food retail operations, with a proven track record of success Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including food safety regulations Strong computer skills, including experience with supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
