Finance and Accounts Head

Job Description : FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING HEAD PHILIPPINES An exciting Finance and Accounting Head (SAP) job has just become available in one of the top agricultural companies in the Philippines whose office is based in Ortigas City. This is a key role within the organisation. Operational reporting directly to the Country Manager and functionally reporting to the Regional CFO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting department for Philippines business operations, and deliver revenue assurance by driving improvements in process and accountability and complete monthly taxation filings. Developing policies and operating procedures and controls for the group’s operating office Establishing, implementing, and monitoring financial controls End-to-end accounts receivable function Preparing reports with Bureau of Internal Revenue such as but not limited to Expanded Withholding Tax, Withholding Tax on Compensation, Final Withholding tax, VAT and Fringe Benefit Tax Preparing payments to suppliers, reimbursement of expenses and other related accounts Corresponding daily with internal and external stakeholders or inter-companies on collection, payment and billing matters Ensuring that the appropriate authorisations from the delegated department head have been received Daily checking of the company bank accounts and apply receipts against the appropriate customer invoices Performing month-end closing, reconciliations and reports (regional daily sales report, regional weekly sales report, monitory and amend zero cost sales) Making commercial recommendations on key financial decisions to the Country Manager/Regional Chief Financial Officer To succeed in this Finance and Accounting Head (SAP) role, you must have a minimum of 8 years of experience at a managerial level in finance and accounting or at least three years of experience at international audit firms. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) At least eight years’ experience in finance and accounting Proficiency with SAP Strong written and verbal communication skills Organised and keen on detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving and time management skills The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
