Job Description : HEAD OF IT MALAYSIA An exciting Head of IT job opportunity has just become available at a plantation company based in Kuala Lumpur. In this business critical role, you will play a major role in leading and overseeing the IT strategy, roadmap, infrastructure, operations and cybersecurity scopes. Work with top stakeholders to identify IT improvements Manage IT budget, strategy and roadmap Manage internal IT operations and vendor Responsible for the design and implementation of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity architecture Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plan Implement and manage cloud systems and services Manage IT assets and services Evaluate and recommend suitable digital solutions for IT growth To succeed in this Head of IT (Plantation) role, you must be equipped with strong IT experience within the plantation industry and open to travelling. More than 10 years of experience in IT with a minimum of five years in a managerial position Strong experience managing IT infrastructure, network, cybersecurity and digital solutions Knowledge of the plantation industry is a must Strong strategic skill sets and ability to manage top management and stakeholders The role is based in KL but travelling is required (up to 50%)
