Job Description : VP Sales - Retail & eCommerce USA Fully remote position Growing Consumer Goods Organisation As VP, Sales you will report into the General Manager, be a key member of the executive team with an initial focus to solidify and strengthen the position across all product channels. Your focus will be on team building, relationship building, strategic sales development, and creating profit improvement. You will identify, develop, and mentor key talent on the team ensuring career growth opportunities as well as lead and strengthen communication processes between sales and all functional areas of the business. Growing organisation with equity to develop into new product areas, ideally, we are looking for exposure to building and commercialising new consumer goods product lines - delivering digital and retail growth. Responsibilities: Sales & Profitability - generating and achieving annualized sales budgets; identifying, pursuing, and securing new sales opportunities; and maintaining and growing existing businesses, all with a focus on profitability. Develop and lead a growing team. Focus on driving digital growth working closely with digital and marketing teams. Strategic focus and knowledge on product positioning in the marketplace relative to competitors while fully understanding the customer's business, product needs and partnership history. Data driven approach to profitable growth. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, Business or Marketing Experience in CPG Consumer Goods a must Experience leading and developing a team including setting sales goals, coaching team to develop a 'General Manager' mindset. Digital sales mindset with an ability to realise the growth online Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with analyzing and interpreting syndicated data sources. Strong customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills and ability to interact with customers at all levels throughout their organization. Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Creative in brainstorming and proposing new ideas and solutions to existing problems. Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
