Logistics Director 
10 yearsJob Description : Logistics Director UAE Reports to: Deputy CEO Business Unit/ Department: Logistics JOB PURPOSE: To manage the supply chain cycle within company`s business units including but not limited to logistics planning, warehouse, and inventory management, analysing budgets, carrier relationship management, staffing, and continuous optimization of logistics operations. Description 1. Identifying and implementing methods to increase efficiency in the supply chain process/ logistics, 3PL warehousing & distributions. 2. Handling 3PL warehousing & distributions operations in Dubai- JAFZA Free zone. Determining Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), KPI’s & Contract Management for service providers. 3. Sourcing and maintaining SLA’s with service providers and 3PL partners through KPI monitoring. 4. Handling freight, domestics, and international logistics operations, import and export management. 5. Experience in implementing safety, health, and environment standards in warehouse operations. Lead internal logistics team to gain ISO certification. 6. Exposure in procurement, contracts, vendor management and Project Management. 7. Sound Knowledge in logistics & warehouse operation costs, budgets analysis with detailed understanding of Opex & Capex. Preparing budgets ensuring optimization of operational expenses by closely monitoring cost factors and by effectively utilizing them. 8. Experience in conversion of opportunities while driving profit and growth, reducing total operational cost with a minimum delivery lead time across UAE 9. Successful Implementation of WMS (Warehouse Management System) 10. Determining the strategic objectives and policies of the Logistics Division . Monitoring progress towards achieving these objectives and policies. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION Minimum Qualification: Degree in relevant field Minimum Experience: 10- 15 years or above experience in relevant field. Additionally we would prefer candidates with at least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience from relevant domains in which we operate (distribution, 3PL, retail and pharma). SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES Job Specific: Multi project management; detail oriented; efficient to tackle and sort out strategic/ operational matters. Generic Skills: Flexible with work, Positive attitude, team leadership, system knowledge
