Job Description : MANAGER-IT for a leading DIVERSIFIED GROUP based in CENTRAL AFRICA Experience: 15+ years Education : BE / B. Tech • Lead & Support IT Infrastructure team to deliver IT Infrastructure support to users across group. • Team lead , IT Infrastructure Support, Server Admin, Backup, CCTV, Fiber, Manage IT Inventory Essential Job Functions: IT Infrastructure Support, Server Admin, CCTV , Manage Firewall (Sophos), Cyber security, IT Project Management • CCNA, CMP • Minimum downtime of IT Infrastructure, Zero data loss , Implement IT Infrastructure project on timely basis • Understand Overall IT Infrastructure setup of Group sites • Work on Improvement of current IT Setup at Mining Sites and project / task agreed at Group Level Improve users experience of IT setup, Centralize all procurement, ensure clarity with HR on IT device policies, • Take care of total IT Infrastructure Area across all locations of Group. A Key member of the IT team for all technology based and shall be also responsible for designing and delivering all technology solutions ensuring a sustainable and robust digital transformation. • Management of servers, security, cloud and help desk. • Based on the evolving digital enterprise architecture, implement plans to meet the new and changing requirements of running the business from a networking, telecommunications, hardware, and all other Infra Solution perspective. • Evaluates and recommends associated Infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and user needs. • Manage all IT Processes associated with Technology. • To manage and engage a large and diverse team and vendors • Ability to manage the vendors and timelines • Expertise in preparing forward looking, detailed and comprehensive SOW and contracts for multi model solutions including cloud, on premise etc. • Cloud computing, Networking – Router/Firewall/Switching, End user management – Laptop/Desktop/Printer/AV, Software support like GSuit, EPBX, ITSM, Server Management, Change Management, Patch Management & Migration, Minimum devices handled – 1000 end users, spread across locations, Budget Management
