12 yearsJob Description : Head of Sales based at Kenya This role will lead the organization's overall Sales function. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Responsible for establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company's business plan. - Provides Annual Sales Plan, monthly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan. - Define and manage the monthly and annual sales objectives for all sales team. - Achieves target level of both existing and new business through effective management of a team of sales professionals, network distributors and prospects. - Implementation of sales strategy for different regions. - Recruit, inspire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals and network distributors who will deliver high standard of sales across all identified markets. - Ensures quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery. - Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies. - Formulate & implement Sales & distribution strategies to extend our brand availability throughout Collecting & analyzing market information and provide feedback to management with suggestion. QUALIFICATION/ SKILLS REQUIRED: - The ideal candidate should have Master's degree in Business Administration (Major-Marketing) would be a plus - 12+ years of experience in FMCG Sales and Marketing function, with stints/ exposure to Sales and Operations roles - The incumbent should be strong on business orientation, execution of change projects (project management), analytical capabilities and knowledge of Sales best practices relevant to the industry. - The incumbent should have led a team and acquired well-developed ability in influencing senior business leaders.
