Job Description : Maintenance Engineer Job Location: Nigeria-Lagos Experience: Min 8 + Yrs Industry: Plastic Education: BE/Diploma –Electrical Job Description: Ensure continuous running of the plant by adherence to the below subject Preventive maintenance, proactive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, to reduce breakdown and increase availability. Preparation and implementation of suitable preventive/ predictive maintenance plan, execution and review of preventive maintenance schedule Analysis of all failure / breakdowns in the plant and identify the root cause to purpose and implement To enhance the life of machine under strong monitoring and routine check. Review of the engineering personnel w.r. day to day activities Regular interaction with the team member to check compliance and improvement Interaction with plant to understand and to ensure common practice is followed. • Management of spare and overhead budgeting Interacting with vendor for the spares, negotiation and other technical discussion. Vendor development, evaluation and selection Purchasing of spares / consumables as per the requirement and maintain optimum inventory in the engineering store. Monitoring of spare / consumables expenses and implement action plan to reduce the overhead expenses through innovative ideas. Monitoring of cost and review and implement action plan to reduce cost. Release of annual maintenance contract to maintain the equipment,. Review and approve minimum spares inventory of critical consumables
