Chief Financial Officer

Job Description : CFO VODAFONE FIJI The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for formulating and implementing the business financial strategy for the company. This role will support all functions in achieving revenue targets by providing timely provision of information for decision making. This is a highly collaborative role requiring solid leadership, relationship building, communication, strategy development and implementation skills. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Lead the financial operations and control financial planning, accounting, reporting, tax and regulatory affairs for the Group. • Lead the development of strategic plans and implementation of plans that facilitate the achievement of performance targets • Manage production and present final versions of all finance and management accounting reports as well as budgets • Define the strategic path to growth and profitability of the company and the establishment of an effective growth process and controls • Be the key business partner to commercial and technical functions to enable them to maximise their potential, whilst staying on track with regards to the financial goals of the company • Develop and drive financial insights across the business in a cohesive way to enable better, more effective decision making • Develop key relationships with financial institutions and regulators to optimize the companys dispositions amidst potentially a dynamic operating environment • Play the role of key conduit, alongside CEO, to better manage stakeholder engagement across relevant parts of the business • Lead all major investment decisions from Finance perspective • Identify and drive synergies across the company • Oversee the development of a highly capable and motivated team and create a high-performance team environment Requirements • Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Financial Management or equivalent • Additional qualification such as CPA, CA or MBA would be an advantage • Be analytical and detail-oriented with good financial skills and an expert understanding of current accounting principles • Must require minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunication industry • Strong understanding of business principles and finance in order to interpret data and make strategic recommendations • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to analyze and summarize complex information. • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding • Solid leadership skills with ability to motivate and lead a team of qualified accountants An attractive remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experience.
