Job Description : CHIEF ACCOUNTANT MOZAMBIQUE A global leading FMCG business is looking to hire a Chief Accountant, based in Maputo, Mozambique. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for leading and managing the reporting & accounting function, developing and implementing reporting plans as well as policies and procedures. The role is open to local/non-local residents. Lead and manage the Reporting & Accounting function Manage and control the production of key financial statements Implement plans, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting rules Produce periodic management reports Manage staff Supervise and control all financial reporting activities A degree in Finance/Accounting Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience Open to local/non-local residents CA(SA), ACCA, CPA, CIMA qualifications preferred Prior experience within the FMCG industry is non-negotiable
