Job Description : CONTRACTS MANAGER NIGERIA 20+ years experience A contract manager creates and amends contracts for an employer. Contract managers write up contracts related to the purchase or sale of goods and services and then track those contracts through their lifecycles. While job responsibilities vary based on company size and which types of goods and services are bought and sold, a contract manager's focus will always be on optimizing contracts with their employer's best interests in mind. Job Knowledge : Contract managers oversee contracts that their employers are involved with, so they must have in-depth knowledge of contract features. A contract manager needs to understand the advantages and pitfalls of contracts and be familiar with a plethora of contract details. Here are some of their typical duties and responsibilities: · Create, analyze, negotiate, and execute an array of contracts for various transactions · Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and other business connections · Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence · Present contract information to relevant parties, such as stakeholders · Troubleshoot contract-related problems, such as breach of contract · Keep track of contracts and extend, renew, or close them out · Assist with the employer's compliance with mandatory standards · Stay informed about changes to relevant rules and regulations Desired Candidate Profile Essential Qualification: · 15 to 20 Years Years of experience in procurement of GTG, STG, HRSG, LTSA Contract for GTG & STG, Contract Finalization for Combined Cycle Power Plant Project · Degree in Engineering with right experience with FIDIC, IACCM etc. Certification in Contract Law · Diploma in Engineering with higher experience & FIDIC, IACCM etc. Certification in Contract Law Items Handled : GTG, STG , HRSG, HVAC Systems, Fuel Gas Conditioning System, Pumps (Boiler Feedwater Pumps, Fire Water Pumps, Centrifugal & Reciprocating Pumps), Cooling Towers, Cranes for GTG & STG, Heat Exchanger, Instrument Air Compressor and Dyer, Chemical Dosing Systems, Water Treatment Plant, Pre-Engineered Building, MEI Contracts finalization, Site Supervision Services, Design & Consultancy Services, Power Flow Study; Geotechnical Services, Topography, Plant Civil (Foundation, Road, Building), Fabrication Contract (Tank and Structural Steels). LTSA & Service agreements, Long Terms Spare Parts Agreement.
