M & A Director

Job Description : DIRECTOR M & A UAE A leading Utilities company based in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a Director of M&A. You will be responsible for leading the company's growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry and will be able to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and monitor the financial performance of the portfolio of companies. Additionally you will be responsible for leading due diligence efforts and negotiating deals. Develop and execute the company's growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions. Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets within the utilities/renewables industry. Lead due diligence efforts and manage deal negotiations. Work closely with the executive team to develop and refine the company's overall growth strategy. Develop and maintain relationships with industry leaders and potential partners. Provide strategic guidance and support to business unit leaders on growth initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics, MBA preferred; CFA would be advantageous. Minimum of 15 years in investments (M&A) or strategy consulting with utilities / renewables sectors Strong understanding of industry/market dynamics and proven track record of successfully identifying/executing M&A transactions Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and strong leadership skills with ability to influence and motivate others.
