12 yearsJob Description : Financial Controller -Logos -Nigeria The Financial Controller Would be Responsible for Overall Planning & Analysis from a Finance & Controls Perspective The Role leads a team of Accounts & finance Professionals & Manages day-to-day Activities to ensure financial Planning, forecasting, Budgeting & internal Controls. Network & Build Business Relationships with various Banking & Other Associate Partners. To ensure all Applicable Compliance are Met as Applied by various Statutory & Regulatory bodies Responsibilities Adheres to all Company Policies, Procedures & Business Ethics Codes & Ensures that these are Communicated & implemented within the Team. Duties Include the following, Measurable in Terms of Time, Cost, Quality or Quantity. Ensure financial Planning, & Budgeting & Share Company Financial Reports on a Weekly/Monthly Basis with the Management Team. Manage day-to-day Accounting Operations & Supervise the Team to ensure the function works at a high-performance level. Perform financial Accounting, Consolidation, Reviews & financial reporting (MIS) & Manage financial Transactions like Bank Reconciliation, Customer Outstanding & Payroll. Coordinate & Direct the Preparation of the Budget & financial forecasts & Report Variances. Supervise, Direct & Organize the work of Accounting Staff (including, but not limited to, Cash Reconciliation, Account Reconciliation, Check Runs, Accounts Receivable Transactions, fixed Asset Activity, Payroll, Accounts Payable Transactions, Debt Activity, Recording of Payments, expenses, Revenues & liabilities, etc.) To Prepare Commercial Contracts, Negotiate & Manage the finalization of Contracts & Export & Import Documentation. To Ensure Compliance with all Applicable Statutory & Regulatory Bodies. Prepare & Submit to Management Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly & Annual periodic financial Statements & Reports. Prepare & Recommend financial Budget & Monitor financial Performance verses the Budget Developing & Motivating Staff, Providing Formal & informal feedback on Performance & Training Needs in order to Maximize Subordinate & Department Performance. To Develop Second line Successor & Drive Performance through Team to take up higher Challenges. Perform other related Duties or Assignment as & when Assigned. .Qualification & Exp. Qualified Chartered Accountant with Minimum experience of 12 years of exp. out of which 5-7 years in the Manufacturing Industry, Well-exposed to Accounting Procedures, Financial Modeling, Internal Controls, Taxation, & Other Applicable Laws in the Country Must have exposure in leading a Team of 8-10 People. Well-versed with SAP / ERP Accounting Package, Must have Exp in the implementation of SAP in Past exp.
