15 yearsJob Description : CHIEF RETAIL OFFICER ANGOLA CRO is fully responsible for the Business operations set up, Shops Earnings, operational profitability (EBITA) & establish general store functions (Expansion and Excellence). Key Abilities: Frozen Foods Wholesale Domain & Product Knowledge, Budgeting & forecasting, Resourceful, Market research, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Logistics, People Management, Competitive Intelligence, Stakeholder Management Role Objectives: PRIMARY/SHORT TERM 1. Creation of operational development blueprint in line with groups annual revenue plan 2. Run P&L management & budget forecasts 3. Identify & establish resources 4. Setting up of operations in new mandated geographical areas of expansion 5. Responsible for identifying business development strategy 6. Oversee supply chain , Inventory mgt 7. Engage employee effectively 8. Establish best practices for sustainability & growth of operations 9. Establish policies that promote Company's vision 10. Design and implement standard people processes Evaluate the feedback from employee, customer, and stakeholders at regular intervals SECONDARY/LONG TERM 1. Align the company's operations with international standards 2. Timely evaluation of business & Operational needs. 3. Implement changes, induce new strategies & do innovation based for overall improvement, performance, growth & revenues 4. Experience of latest Technologies for POS and Distribution Sales 5. Benchmark with competitors to create business USPs 6. Create a self-growing culture i.e. the culture which promotes the company's growth 7. Sustain and increase business margins 8. Add cutting edge technology to augment operational efficiency Duties & Responsibilities : 1. Shop operation a. Plan short and long objectives for the business. b. Identification the area of operation in developing area of Angola for setting up stores. c. Set Up & monitoring of various department such as inventory management, marketing, logistics, finance, human resource, Legal & PR, branding etc. d. Establish process for smooth running of business operations. e. Analyze the needs and resources for retail operation functionality. f. Implement various strategies to achieve the desire goal. 2. P& L Management & Financial Forecasts. a. Experience of Budget planning for USD 250 million size organization b. Tactfully allocation of Financials on various resource needs during the set up operations. c. Planning and forecasting on revenue generation. d. Establishing a smooth Receivable Management/ Credit Management. e. Maintaining & growing EBITA Margins / Return on Investment 3. Business Development Strategies. a. Selection and acquisition of the Shop site in developing area. b. Understanding the markets, culture, channel & trends. c. Induce strategy based on understanding of Frozen Food product (SKUs) & demand. d. Develop blueprint based on analysis of targeted audience of Frozen Food product. 4. Creating Effective supply chain management a. Oversee supply chain i.e. Procurement & Import practices b. Freight forwarding c. Warehousing d. Distribution Channels e. Inventory management 5. Work force Management. a. Monitor and evaluate performance and progress of L2 so sets objectives and targets are achieved. b. Establish procedures and process to maximize staff recruitment and retention in period of 6 to 12 months to desired team size c. Develop, Mentor and train team members to maximize their potential. 6. Brand Management practices a. Developing brand strategy b. Pricing developing c. Advertising strategy & organizing support events 7. Inducing new strategies & practices for Customer satisfaction a. Customer Service management b. After sales services c. Feedback & response system 8. Elimination and Reducing of Risk of various Factors a. Internal Factors: Financial, Human resources, Assets, Intangible resource etc. b. External Factors: Economic environment, Political environment, Legal environment, Socio-cultural environment, Technological environment, International environment etc. 9. Competitive Advantage. a. Direct & Indirect Competitive Analysis b. Research of other industries and environment trends & demands. c. Study of Customer/ internal resource feedback & suggestions 10. Development (Technical & People) a. Identify and assess future and current operational training needs b. Responsible for ensuring that the staff receives appropriate training and development c. Ensure that the staff is trained for maintaining the customers satisfaction and consistent quality in all the services which are provided to the customers d. Ensure that the staff is trained to maintain the operational standards in all the environmental conditions Eligibility Requirements Size & scale Organization 250 million, 350 expat employees plus 2000+ Local employees Business Platform Mode Ethical Marketing with Distribution Customer Categorization / Segmentation Frozen Food, Wholesale Technologies Worked Worked on SAP, POS, and Data Analytics Person Specifications Qualifications : MBA Experience : 15-20 years. At least 5 years in senior mgt position Preferably worked in Central African countries / Middle East Age Not above 45 Preferences FMCG Retail (Wholesale) Language Known English, Hindi and Preferably Portuguese
