Job Description : GM INDIA for Battery Engineering Roles and Responsibilities Working with right materials for in-pack coolant, casing, partitions, etc., for battery pack by evaluating its impact on the performance during faults, failures and abuse 2. Design state-of-the-art battery while ensuring design scalability in production 3. Ensure on-road safety for the vehicle occupants by driving the electrical and functional safety tests as per the standards and regulations specific for EV batteries 4. Design Cell & Battery Pack for Passenger vehicles while ensuring safety and scalability and should Mentor/Guide the technical team to achieve required deliverables as per specified targets. 5. Achieve the company's targets of QCD (Quality, Cost, Deliverables) for Company program of Passenger vehicle development. 6. Participate in technical reviews with designers to ensure design rules and standards are followed while the team is interacting closely/ taking necessary inputs from concerned stakeholders. 7. Meet Engineering and Program milestones as applicable to achieve successful SOP (Start of Production). 8. Ensure that the issues/technical problems encountered during product design, development, test & validation, proto/assembly vehicle built are resolved with the learning captured as TGR/TGW or guidelines.
