Engineering Director

Job Description : VEHICLE ENGINEERING DIRECTOR INDIA FOR 2, 3 AND 4 WHEELERS a leading multi-billion dollar OEM in the auto space with a country wide presence. They have multiple manufacturing facilities and a dedicated R&D centre. · Responsible for various functions in the overall Vehcile Engineering department viz. Structure and Component design, Concept design and Vehicle Integration, overall component design, development and testing · The head of vehicle engineering will be accountable for functional leads of all automobile product lines within the organisation · Accountable for leading all vehicle engineering projects, allocating suitable resources/team, workflow finalisation, timeline adherence and planning for budget, overall investment and results of projects · Ensuring optimisation in development process, project adherence with product, quality, timing and overall costing from conceptualisation to execution and till end of production · Provide technical leadership to all technical functions like design and development, chassis, testing and validation of components, and other parallel sectional heads · Candidates with mandatory more than 15+ years of experience in automobile R&D with major OEMs and a solid academic background in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering preferably with a Master's or Doctorate · Candidates who have lead multi functional automotive R&D teams in the past with a strong understanding of Chassis design and development will be highly desirable · If a candidate has a Technology Center exposure of more than 5+ years in a leadership capacity with an automotive setup they will be highly preferred · Leadership opportunity with one of country's largest Automobile OEM · Multi-functional leadership opportunity to head Engineering Function of a leading OEM giant
