Financial Controller

They are looking for a driven and experienced Group Financial Controller to contribute to the continuing evolution and expansion of the business at a Senior Leadership level. Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the purpose of this role is to deliver high quality internal and external reporting, ensuring all statutory reporting and compliance obligations are met on time. Providing support and guidance to the CFO on all technical accounting matters and the associated implications for the Group, including input into significant commercial transactions. Maintain internal and external financial reporting processes, to deliver required management and statutory reporting including ASIC/Banking requirements. Provide exceptional leadership of the group accounting, transactional, and payroll teams, building a strong team culture focussed on providing growth opportunities and development for all team members. Manage the external audit relationship to deliver an efficient and cost-effective audit. Lead compliance for both direct and indirect tax. Operate a framework of Tax governance that provides a high level of assurance that the Group is fully compliant with all tax obligations As a key member of the finance team, the successful applicant must: Experienced senior financial controller who thrives in a commercially busy environment Strong exposure within change management and process improvement as well as having demonstrated leadership in key projects. Excellent leadership skills and ability to drive cultural change and development Proven experience working with internal and external stakeholders to provide integral support and influential change Excellent communicator, comfortable navigating complex environments at both farm and Board level
