Job Description : REGIONAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER THAILAND An exciting Regional Procurement Manager – Raw Materials (x 1 vacancy) job has just become available at one of the leading FMCG company based in Bangkok, Thailand. Reporting directly to the director, this is a role for a Regional Procurement Manager – Raw Materials who is expert and has proven achievements in raw material procurement category in food and fast-paced business. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining and executing of raw materials procurement strategy, contract management and supplier relationship management. You will be a key player who seek for performance improvement of the whole procurement chain and deliver business result as committed target. The position is an individual contributor and work partnering with global team. The salary range for this role is competitive with provident fund and medical insurance. This job opportunity is open to all nationalities who are able to be based in Bangkok, Thailand, accept a local package with provident fund and medical insurance and ready to onboard when required by the business. Lead regional raw materials procurement by defining and executing the strategy, contract management and supplier relationship management, measuring and improving performance, and achieving annual plans and delivering productivity Lead continuous improvement initiatives from procurement side for the category Evaluate and evolve sourcing strategy based on changing market conditions and provide inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and external analysis and negotiations Ensure implementation of sourcing strategy, compliance monitored, and benefits tracked in line with procurement policy and practice Lead category negotiations and manage contracts with suppliers Track supply market, share evolving category trends, monitor supplier performance, and share benchmarking against industry or market standards Bachelor's degree or higher in food science or related field At least 10 years work experience in raw materials procurement in food/FMCG business Excellent business acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skill High level of understanding about the technical aspects of food procurement, having knowledge of supply market fundamental Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills Proven ability to lead and influence teams of professionals; vendors; clients to achieve cost effective and timely business focused solutions
