General Manager Production

Job Description : GM FMCG PRODUCTION UAE 20+ years experience Planning: Ensure co-ordination with factory planning team for preparation of the annual/monthly /fortnightly /weekly/daily production & dispatch plans for the Factory in line with customer requirements and align the resources accordingly. Production : Review the available resources both human & Machines to align with the target agreed, Monitoring & delivering as per the commitment. - Review of planned production v/s actual production as per production schedule. Maintain operational efficiency by guiding the team to resolve issues and drive improvements through innovation, automation & digital intervention. - Identify the bottlenecks during production and mitigate the same. - Engineering/Maintenance: Oversee the Facility Management to ensure the site is maintained in optimum conditions. - Monitor Equipment Maintenance to ensure equipment across site are in the best condition possible. - Ensure critical spares of critical machines are maintained to reduce resolution time by predicting demand and reviewing availability. - Ensure preventive maintenance is conducted as per schedule to avoid breakdown by periodically reviewing adherence to schedule. - Strategize to minimize impact of breakdown on quality and production by reducing service time. Quality : Ensure adherence of all quality standards as defined in the Factory to ensure First time right product. Safety : Review safety systems and procedures followed in the factory in coordination with corporate EHS. Evaluate and mitigate potential hazards in department by tracking all incidents/accidents and implementing CAPAs. Ensure safety training completion in department by coordinating with corporate EHS. Manufacturing cost : Ensure deployment of various cost measures and kaizens to reduce the manufacturing cost People Management : Ensure agreed upon scores of engagement through training and skill building . - Creation of a high-performance culture with a focus on strategic succession planning through programmatic interventions. Process Excellence : Ensure deployment of TPM initiatives with all established measurables - Monitoring machine engagement, losses, KPIs and automation for process & productivity improvement - Managing all dashboards as agreed on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
