15 yearsJob Description : GLOBAL IT HEAD MALAYSIA .Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will ensure that the group has the technical capabilities needed for the support of group strategy and business processes (alignment with group management business organisation). As the Global Head of IT, you will be responsible for the overall application and security of business and technical expertise to enable the creation, management, and optimisation of or access to information and business processes. Oversee a defined IT strategy; review, adapt and implementation of the strategy with the objective to provide the group with effective and efficient IT tools (software and hardware) Support the implementation of systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) Prepare overall annual IT capex and opex for approvals Develop security strategies, policies, and guidelines for the group Ensure a robust, secured, and cost-effective security plan covering the full life cycle of data management Conduct routine and periodic GAP analysis and security audit to ensure existing security measures are adequate Collaborate closely with group HR to ensure systematic, periodic, and effective IT security training programme Manage the IT infrastructure team to ensure all network, servers, storage, desktop, data centre/hosting, IT security, video conferencing, telephone operations, etc., work seamlessly and effectively Review and identify potential risk within infrastructure setup and propose solutions, action plans and extra cost included in the annual capex/opex review Ensure IT user support team works effectively to provide a high service level to all IT users Ensure cloud vs on-premise infrastructure has a good balance to ensure speed, security, cost effectiveness and efficiency Ensure proper management of all IT services contracts Ensure balance between outsourcing vs insourcing considering cost benefit to the group Oversee and manage IT business development (software development) and project management Ensure adequate resources and required expertise in the IT team to support the implementation of new systems as well as to ensure full internal support, enhancement, and development of the system post implementation. Degree in computer science, information technology, or information system Five or more years of work experience in an equivalent position and international organisation 15 or more years of IT service delivery experience Experience in IT management Experience in infrastructure and applications management Experience in data warehousing, architecture, and networking Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies Experience in the implementation of business operations platforms (ERP, CRM, WMS, etc.) Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Effective planning, analytical and implementation skills Goal-oriented, dynamic, and a high sense of responsibility
