Job Description : WAREHOUSE DIRECTOR USA Oversee the strategic direction of third-party and plant warehouse operations for the company. Develop and implement network-wide warehouse solutions, ensuring overall distribution network efficiency and effectiveness. Align warehouse management with the company’s objectives, including meeting customer demand and maintaining a high service level while balancing inventory, quality, capacity, and cost. Oversee, implement, and lead all third-party and plant support warehouse operations, processes, strategies, safety, quality and performance Provide manufacturing and distribution facilities with warehouse expertise, support, and standardization as needed Manage overall warehouse budget and P&L; assume financial control and risk management of third-party warehouses and plant warehouse support Accurately complete annual budget requirements and monthly reporting for warehouse spend including, but not limited to, third-party warehouses, national equipment contracts, and plant warehouse support Ensure space and product availability in distribution centers (internal and external) for all produced and purchased goods Ensure the integrity of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods including at third-party warehouses across the network Ensure internal and external warehouse operations are meeting customer service requirements, load conditions, etc. Negotiate and manage third-party warehouse contracts and other warehouse-related agreements for the entire network Lead management process to ensure warehouse initiatives deliver expected service and financial requirements, remain in scope, and are completed on time Support supply planning and operations teams in space planning processes for annual, holiday, and peak business requirements Participate in the company-wide S&OP process, supply reviews, and executive S&OP presentations Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers to optimize supply chain performance and deliver key strategic initiatives Define, develop, and set metrics for company-wide warehouse performance; provide specific reporting as required Drive root cause corrective action for warehouse issues and continuous improvement in performance Set up relationships with warehouse providers and effectively manage the movement of goods between plant locations and outside warehouses Ensure standardized and documented warehouse systems, procedures, and processes are developed and implemented throughout the company Research and stay current with trends in the industry to advance warehousing technology and maturity Support project teams and assume a lead warehouse role in any ERP or system enhancements, changes, conversions Support food safety program, quality standards, and legality of manufactured products Perform other job-related duties as assigned Bachelor's degree in a business or supply chain-related discipline and/or 20+ equivalent years of experience Food manufacturing experience and familiarity with commodity-sensitive businesses preferred Advanced knowledge in one or more disciplines of supply chain such as warehouse, operations, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, supply planning, procurement, etc., preferred Advanced analytical aptitude and computer skills including Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP Systems, SAP desired Experience implementing and working within a WMS preferred Experience with manufacturing modules including MRP and MPS desired Strong leadership and team-building skills with an intense desire to drive positive change and deliver results Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to drive innovative solutions Ability to establish rapport quickly, communicating with ease, skill, and conviction Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively within an organization and collaborate with internal and external clients to determine requirements and eliminate barriers that may affect delivery of product Ability to effectively drive strategy and execution at all levels of the organization Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate the needs of a manufacturing operation Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
